Street Art of the Day: TWIST and AMAZE’s Deitch wall mural, which took the place of Shepard Fairey’s May Day mural, was reclaimed by an anonymous Dash Snow fan (some say ADEK), who used a fire extinguisher-style applicator (KRINK?) and Snow’s retired SACE tag to cover up the Houston Street merry-go-wall.

I do love me some blatant vandalism.
i did a speech on street art last semester. some one asked how important it is to our cultural legacy if it can be covered. and i stand by my answer still, the fact that it can be covered is just yet another layer of what our society is today. time is fleeting, so is art today
